Are you a fan of HBO's older shows, like "The Sopranos," and "The Wire"? Well if you are, they are going to be on Amazon Prime's streaming video service, not Netflix. The new variety of HBO shows, will be great for Amazon as they attempt to get more subscribers and challenge Netflix. Though there are some down sides...
Like the new seasons of HBO shows like "Veep," "The Newsroom," and "Girls" won't be on Amazon for three years. So if you like more recent shows, Netflix is still the way to go. Though if you need to catch up on more current episodes, you'll need to sign up for cable and HBO.
